Rappahannock Events ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Rappahannock Events iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or a private relay address if you choose to hide your email). We store a unique user identifier to manage your account.

Location Data: With your permission, we access your device location to show nearby venues, provide directions, and enhance your experience. Location data is processed on-device and not stored on our servers.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including venues viewed, events saved to your plan, and reservations made. This data is used to improve the App experience.

Payment Information: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.

Communication Data: When you use the AI Concierge to make phone calls or send emails on your behalf, we store communication logs (call status, timestamps, and relevant reservation details) to provide you with updates and confirmations.

• To provide and personalize the App experience
• To process reservations and payments
• To facilitate communications with venues on your behalf via the AI Concierge
• To send push notifications about your plans, reservations, and call outcomes
• To improve the App and fix issues

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign-In: Authentication
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Anthropic (Claude): AI-powered concierge chat (conversations are processed server-side)
• Retell AI: AI-powered phone calls to venues
• Mapbox: Maps and directions
• Amazon Web Services: Backend infrastructure and email delivery

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. We use HTTPS for all data transmission and follow industry-standard security practices.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for location access at any time via iOS Settings

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
